Tanzania SOMA International Mission, 28 May to 9 Jun
A large team is required to reach out to 5 Diocese across Tanzania in a model that is being developed which we hope will allow SOMA to maximise its effectiveness in teaching around the person, gifts and work of the Holy Spirit in very practical ways. This mission will be ideal for those who are comfortable in operating in the Spiritual gifts or who are keen to go deeper and learn more.
Kampala and Mityana Dioceses, Uganda
Mission Dates 16 to 30 August 2024
Costs will be around £1400 as the actual flights are costly because of the summer price rises.
Team members are required for a team of 6 going to work in Kampala city as a door to door mission and then a clergy conference in Mityana Diocese.
Kenya SOMA International Mission.
Dates 30 Sept to 11 October.
Cost £1200 per person
This mission will follow the similar pattern to the Tanzania model and currently conversation is ongoing with 15 diocesan Bishops so a team of around 45 will be required to successfully man this mission.
South Sudan Mission, October 2024
Date 27 October to 11 November
Cost 1600 per person
We need to two teams to visit the provinces
Team 1 Central Equatoria and Eastern Equatoria Internal Provinces
Team 2 Upper Nile and Jonglei Internal Provinces
Each team will be a team of 4 to 6 people. The focus of the missions will be too host conferences on the issues of Reconciliation and Forgiveness and what the bible has to teach on these subjects. This is one of the more difficult places that Soma ministers but the rewards far exceed the challenges that this brings.
South & West Rwenzori Diocese Uganda
Dates 11 to 25 November 2024.
Cost £1200 per person.
This is a wonderful opportunity to be involved in an amazing celebration of the success of the ministry in South Rwenzori diocese where the Bishop seeks to bring 10,000 together in celebration conference.
The second week will be in the diocese of West Rwenzori where we will be teaching the soma basic teaching on the ministry and work of the Holy Spirit.
